Allentown, PA (March 28, 2022) – Around 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning, March 28, injuries were reported in a car accident following a crash in Allentown.

According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of 2md Street and Emaus Avenue. A driver was traveling toward the intersection at 93 miles per hour in a residential area. The driver suddenly lost control of their vehicle and crashed into four vehicles. The vehicle remained at the scene following the crash and police quickly showed up at the scene.

Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver in the vehicle, as well as a passenger, were both rushed to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene. Police did not comment on why they were chasing the vehicle that fled from the police.
