Mansfield Township, NJ (June 1, 2022) – On the evening of Wednesday, June 1, numerous vehicles collided on a roadway in the vicinity of Mansfield Township, resulting in a number of injuries to the victims involved, according to sources.
The incident happened at 11:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike near Exit 6 and Burlington-Mt. Holly Road, according to the Mansfield Police Department. It is unclear how the collision occurred, but police say the right lanes were totally closed off to traffic as a consequence.
At the scene of the collision, emergency medical technicians and first responders were sent to assist the wounded. Two victims were reportedly treated at nearby medical institutions.
