Investigations into the specific circumstances surrounding the incident’s cause are still ongoing at this time. Anyone with information on the event, including witnesses, should contact the Philadelphia Police Department as soon as possible.

Multiple-Vehicle Accidents & Injuries Across Philadelphia County

According to the recent numbers from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, there were around 10,150 car accidents in Philadelphia County last year (the highest reported in any county throughout the Commonwealth). Furthermore, in Philadelphia County, roughly 30 traffic crashes occur on a daily basis.

Sadly, an approximate 12,150 multiple-driver accidents took place throughout the greater Philadelphia County area in only one recent year, per authorities.

Philadelphia has one of the highest rates of traffic-related fatalities per 100,000 inhabitants when compared to other big cities, making it one of the worst cities in the nation for road mortality. To be more specific, Philadelphia has 6 fatalities per 100,000 residents, compared to 2.87 deaths per 100,000 in New York City. Boston, with 1.93 fatalities per 100,000 people, has the lowest rate in the country when compared to these and Los Angeles, which has 5.74 deaths per 100,000 people.

Accidents are stressful and unpleasant events that might cause you to be concerned about the future while also making you feel helpless in the present. The scenario gets considerably direr if you were involved in an automobile accident that wasn’t your fault but was tragically caused by a reckless or inattentive motorist.
