Brick, NJ (February 4, 2022) – On Friday evening, February 4, a car accident with injuries occurred in Brick near a major highway.
According to Brick Township Police, the accident happened at 6 p.m. on Burrsville Road around the area of the Garden State Parkway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, colliding forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked for an extended period of time until police were able to completely clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
