Broomall, PA (January 29, 2022) – Three people sustained injuries in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Broomall on Friday afternoon, January 28.
According to police, the accident happened around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Media Line Road and Gradyville Road. Two vehicles, identified as a passenger vehicle and an SUV, collided with each other after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person was trapped in their SUV and had to be extricated by fire crews. The victim, as well as two others in the SUV, were rushed to a trauma center for treatment of serious injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
