Conshohocken, PA (June 29, 2022) – A multiple-vehicle crash occurred on a route in the Conshohocken area on Wednesday evening, June 29, possibly hurting several drivers and passengers.
According to the Conshohocken Police Department, the incident occurred at 10:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 between I-476 and Gulph Mills.
It’s unclear what caused the crash, but both vehicles were so badly damaged that they needed to be towed away.
Conshohocken Fire and Emergency Medical Services units, among others, rushed to the site of the accident. Two or three people were presumably injured and taken to nearby hospitals, but the police have not verified their identities or the nature of their injuries.
The police were checking the accident site for about an hour, creating a traffic bottleneck. As part of their inquiry, officials in Conshohocken and Philadelphia are now looking into the collision’s causes.
