Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
Pedestrians are known for being some of the most at-risk parties when it comes to accidents in the state of New Jersey. Hundreds of pedestrians lose their lives in accidents every single year. In 2021, it is estimated that approximately 207 pedestrians were killed in fatal New Jersey accidents. Drivers are expected to watch out for pedestrians at all times on our roads. However, this does not always happen, as drivers sometimes speed through intersections or become distracted. When a driver is too focused on what is happening in their vehicle instead of the roads around them, a pedestrian accident could happen in the blink of an eye.
