Evesham, NJ (May 24, 2024) – A 19-year-old man riding a minibike died after a major collision involving a passenger vehicle that occurred earlier this week, and officers released further details in connection with the incident on Wednesday.
The crash reportedly took place at the corner of Evesboro Medford Road and Tenby Lane. At about 10:20 p.m., the Evesham Police Department arrived on the scene. After suffering serious injuries in the accident with a vehicle, the victim, described only as an adult male, passed away at Virtua Hospital Marlton. A 64-year-old Palmyra woman was driving the vehicle involved in the collision but was not hurt.
According to initial investigations, at the time of the collision, the man on the minibike was traveling west on Evesboro Medford Road, and the woman was turning left in her vehicle onto Tenby Lane. Officers continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash and have not said whether citations or charges are pending. Witness tips may be sent to the Evesham Police Department.
