Lacey Township, NJ (March 7, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious car crash that took place on the Garden State Parkway in Lacey Township.
According to officials, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway close to exit 77. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. The party was rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic as police worked to clear the scene.
