Truck Accidents in Pennsylvania
Tractor-trailer accidents are known for being some of the most severe accidents on our roads. According to research by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, approximately 75% of big truck-related accidents in 2015 happened on highways in Pennsylvania. Trucks are some of the largest vehicles on our roads, which means that they are capable of causing catastrophic harm in the event of an accident. Unfortunately, nothing can completely prevent these accidents from happening, as trucks will always navigate our roads. However, much can be done to ensure that these accidents are prevented as much as possible. Because it is never easy to face the aftermath of a truck-related collision, it is important that you speak with an attorney who has your best interests in mind after an accident.
If you have been hurt in a truck accident, you should have the assistance of a Lansdale truck accident attorney on your side. Truck accidents share some of the most common characteristics with other accidents but they are actually known for being so much more complex in other ways. This is due to the fact that truck drivers are expected to follow many rules and regulations. On top of this, many different parties could be at fault for a truck-related collision. These include the following parties:
- Truck drivers
- Trucking companies
- Manufacturers
- Cargo loaders
If you have been hurt in a truck accident and know that another party is to blame, you should be prepared to speak with a Lansdale personal injury lawyer immediately.
