Malvern, PA (May 9, 2022) – Several people were reportedly hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that involved at least two motorists on a busy Malvern roadway Monday night, May 9.
The collision occurred between Route 29 and Valley Forge on the eastbound Pennsylvania Turnpike, according to local officials. Around 10:25 p.m., two drivers traveling on the left side of the Turnpike collided in an alleged rear-end collision. The automobiles that were involved in the wreck were severely damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
First responders, including paramedics and fire services, were also summoned to assist people in need. News footage of emergency techs treating one or more victims for their injuries was released, though the current conditions of the victims remain unavailable at this time.
The roadway was closed for a lengthy period of time. Those in the area were advised to use an alternate route until the incident was cleared.
