Philadelphia, PA (April 10, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a roadway in Philadelphia on Sunday evening, April 10.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at 6:20 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-76 around the area of Green Lane and Belmont Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including Philadelphia Fire and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in one lane of traffic. This led to delays for some time until police cleared the scene.
