Philadelphia, PA (November 12, 2022) – One person was killed in a fatal car crash that took place on Friday night, November 11.
According to authorities, a Dodge Caravan driver hit a 48-year-old man’s Chevy Cavalier in Philadelphia’s Bustleton neighborhood, killing him. At 9:50 on Friday night, the incident happened in the 10000 block of Verree Road.
Per authorities, a 41-year-old Dodge driver was driving southbound on Verree Road as the Chevy driver was backing out of a driveway.
Officers added that the the Chevy driver was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where, at around 10:50 p.m., he was declared dead.
Investigators noted that the Dodge driver remained on the scene.
No other information has been made public. The accident’s circumstances are still being looked into.
