Philadelphia, PA (January 25, 2022) – One or more people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a major roadway in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Police confirmed that the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-76 around the area of Girard Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
