Philadelphia, PA (March 23, 2022) – Around 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday morning, March 23, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Philadelphia.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Harbison Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
