Philadelphia, PA (May 13, 2022) – On Friday evening, May 13, a number of injuries were reported by Philadelphia Police following a car accident that occurred on a major local highway.
Per initial information provided by Philadelphia officials, the incident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-76 between Exit 342 to Highway 13/30 westbound and Exit 343 to Spring Garden Street and Haverford Avenue.
Two or more motorists were passing through the area and traveling in the right lanes of Interstate 76 when they collided for unknown reasons. As a result, both cars were severely damaged, and possible minor to moderate injuries occurred.
Around 11:15 p.m., Philadelphia paramedics and fire personnel were dispatched to the area to assist the individuals in need. As a result of the collision, one driver was sent to a local hospital for additional treatment.
There have been no more updates, but the accident is still being investigated at this time.
