Philadelphia, PA (January 17, 2022) – On Monday, January 17, a rollover crash with injuries occurred on a major highway in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia officials confirmed that the accident happened at 9:43 a.m. A sedan and an SUV were traveling in the eastbound lanes of traffic on the Schuylkill Expressway around the area of Blue Route. The two vehicles collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The SUV immediately rolled over, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and various other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims sustained injuries and had to be extricated from the rolled vehicle. The involved victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
