Philadelphia, PA (February 23, 2023) – On Wednesday night, a multi-vehicle collision in Philadelphia’s Oxford Circle area critically wounded a toddler, a 17-year-old, and two adults.
The collision occurred just after 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of Castor Avenue and Devereaux Avenue. The child’s injuries were regarded as severe.
EMTs transported the young boy, a teenager, and one of the adults involved to a local medical center with major injuries. The other adult victim was also treated for moderate injuries at the scene and transported in fair condition to the hospital.

The injured victims and their families are in our thoughts at this time.
Car Accident Rate in Pennsylvania
Tragically, about 20,000 accidents involving three or more drivers occur annually in Pennsylvania. Accidents may occur in an instant anywhere, but they occur more often on our major, multi-lane highways. What’s more, an unforeseen automobile collision can turn your life upside down in a couple of seconds.
Managing the aftermath of a car accident on your own may be challenging. You may need the assistance of a Philadelphia-area automobile accident attorney to recuperate after an accident. In fact, a personal injury lawyer will be familiar with accident law and will be able to respond to any questions you might have about the aftermath of a car crash. Most importantly, a skilled attorney may help you establish the following elements of your claim:
- Another driver is responsible for driving safely and owes you a duty of care.
- When a motorist causes a crash due to their negligence, they are in violation of this duty of care.
- This driver’s conduct led directly to the collision.
- You suffered injuries and any additional damages as a result of the incident.
Don’t wait to contact a lawyer if you’ve sustained injuries in a crash. When you’ve been hurt in a vehicle accident that wasn’t your fault, you shouldn’t be held responsible for your medical bills and lost wages.
