Philadelphia, PA (November 21, 2022) – Just after 4:00 p.m. in the late afternoon hours of Monday, November 21, a multiple-vehicle crash that ended in possible injuries, affecting both drivers and passengers, took place in the greater Philadelphia area.
According to Philadelphia Police Department inquiries, the collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 76 near Exit 341 to Montgomery Drive and South Street. As they merged into the right-hand lanes, two cars crashed for unknown reasons, causing significant damage to both vehicles and reported victim injuries.
Several first responders, including paramedics, firefighters, and others, were sent to the scene to assist any and all wounded people. No information is known on the severity of injuries or the current condition of the injured parties, however.
Investigations into the specifics of what caused the wreck continue. Anyone who saw or knows anything about the incident should call the PPD immediately.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their loved ones.

In point of fact, over the course of 2016, there were over 12,700 collisions involving multiple vehicles recorded in Philadelphia County.
When compared to other major cities, Philadelphia has one of the highest rates of traffic-related fatalities per 100,000 residents. Boston has the lowest mortality rate, with 1.93 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, but Los Angeles is not far behind, with 5.74 deaths per 100,000.
