Philadelphia, PA (September 6, 2022) – A woman is dead after a hit-and-run accident that took place this weekend, and police are looking for the suspect driver.
A 26-year-old woman was killed early Saturday morning when she crossed the intersection of Whitaker Avenue and East Luzerne Street in Feltonville, according to police. She was taken to the hospital but later died.
Thus far, the investigation has shown that at around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, a gray or silver automobile turning left hit the woman and fled the scene.
No suspect has been apprehended, but police believe a charge of vehicular homicide is possible. The police also did not discover any wreckage, though they do anticipate that the alleged suspect’s automobile will have some damage.
Our sincerest sympathies are with the deceased victim’s loved ones and family members.
