Plymouth Meeting, PA (May 11, 2022) – One individual was hurt in a major vehicle accident in Plymouth Meeting on Wednesday, May 11.
The collision occurred at the junction of Germantown Pike and Jolly Road at about 7:40 p.m., according to Plymouth Township Police. Three drivers were moving through the intersection when they collided at the rear as they approached the corner with Jolly Road. All vehicles involved in the incident were severely damaged and had to be hauled from the scene by a tow truck.
To aid those in need, paramedics, fire personnel, and numerous additional responders were dispatched to the area. Due to serious injuries, one of the drivers, who has not been identified, was transferred to a local medical center. A few other persons were hurt in the crash but were evaluated for minor injuries at the scene before being released.
The inquiry is still continuing and no additional information has been disclosed by the authorities who are investigating.
