Royersford, PA (March 10, 2022) – A man was injured in a workplace forklift accident that took place on Monday afternoon, March 7.
Montgomery County officials confirmed that the accident happened at 600 North Lewis Road at a manufacturing company in the area. A man was involved in a forklift accident that led to reasons that are not fully understood at this time. Police reported that he became pinned underneath the forklift.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The worker was stuck underneath the forklift and had to be rescued by fire crews. He was then rushed to an area hospital by ambulance. The victim’s condition is not known at this time.
The area was blocked off for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
