Toms River, NJ (May 20, 2024) – On May 19, a Beachwood man was airlifted in a collision between a car and a pickup truck on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway at milepost 83.8.
Sgt Jeffrey Lebron from the New Jersey State Police said a Honda passenger vehicle and a Ford pickup truck were traveling south when collided and hit the guardrail following the crash. The pickup ran off the road and overturned. The driver and passenger in the pickup truck sustained injuries, along with the male victim airlifted, who was driving the other car. However, the crash remains under investigation, and no further details were reported.
