West Chester, PA (April 20, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car accident that took place at an intersection in West Chester on Wednesday afternoon, April 20.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 4:59 p.m. at the intersection of US-202 and Matlack Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles collided forcefully with each other, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
