Washington County, PA (December 13, 2024) – Multiple people were injured in a crash along I-79 in Washington County on Friday morning, authorities stated.
The call for the three-car crash at the 31.5-mile marker came in around 8:15 a.m. Pennsylvania State troopers said the driver of a Hyundai Elantra lost control going southbound and crossed the large grass media, going straight into oncoming traffic and hitting a Toyota Corolla head-on. It’s unclear how serious the victim’s injuries were, but several people were hospitalized. Their current conditions are also unknown.
