Waterford, NJ (April 6, 2022) – On Monday, April 4, a woman was injured in a dog bite attack that took place near Camilla Avenue in Waterford.
According to local officials, the incident took place when a woman was walking her Australian cattle dog in the area. Two dogs were in the area nearby and broke loose. They ran over to the woman and her dog and started to attack and bite both of them. The dogs were identified as a black dog and a smaller mixed breed dog.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The woman and her cattle dog were both injured as a result of the incident. The woman was hospitalized but her current condition is not yet known.
Police did not say what happened to the dogs that broke loose.
