Williamstown, NJ (October 9, 2022) – A handful of victims reportedly sustained injuries in a multiple-vehicle collision that transpired on a busy New Jersey highway late on Sunday evening, October 9.
Williamstown Police report that the accident occurred on eastbound Highway 322 at the intersection with Tuckahoe Road. An incident between two vehicles at 10:35 p.m. slowed traffic on the highway for almost an hour.
However, both automobiles were severely damaged and had to be hauled away from the scene; thus, the reason for the accident remains unclear.
The Williamstown Fire Department and other nearby emergency technical services also responded. Two or three victims apparently sustained injuries and were sent to local hospitals for treatment. They were taken to the hospital, but doctors were unable to comment on their status or confirm the severity of their injuries.
An investigation into the chain of events that culminated in the incident is ongoing, and no new details have been released.
Our thoughts remain with the injured victims and their loved ones at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
