Wind Gap, PA (March 24, 2022) – Three people were killed in a fatal car accident that took place on a major roadway in Wind Gap.
According to Pennsylvania State Police officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of PA-33. It is believed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three people inside one of the vehicles were tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. They have since been identified as 39-year-old Alexis Robinson, her 42-year-old husband Darrell Robinson, and their 16-year-old daughter, Tahlia Robinson.
The roadway was blocked in the area for several hours as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing. Police will update with more information as it is available.
