Birdsboro, PA (December 13, 2022) – Two drivers and a handful of passengers were reportedly injured in an auto accident that unfolded on an area highway in the Birdsboro region on Tuesday evening, December 13th.

According to the Birdsboro Police Department, the incident occurred in the westbound lanes of Route 422 at Township Line Road at around 5:50 p.m.

Although the reason for the collision remains unknown, both vehicles sustained enough damage to need towing.

Several Birdsboro Fire and Emergency Medical Services units, among others, rushed to the site of the collision. The police have not verified the identities of the injured or the severity of their wounds, but it seems that two or three people were hurt and subsequently sent to nearby hospitals.

As officers tried to remove the wreckage from the accident site, they investigated the wreck comprehensively. Authorities in Birdsboro and Philadelphia are still investigating the collision’s cause at this time, however.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families. We wish for their full recovery.
