Philadelphia, PA - I-676 Scene of Injury-Causing Crash at MLK Blvd in Camden City
December 29, 2022

Philadelphia, PA (December 29, 2022) – On Thursday, December 29th, a vehicle accident involving at least two drivers took place on a highway near Philadelphia, reportedly injuring some victims.

At 12:50 p.m., the Philadelphia Police Department received a complaint of a multiple-vehicle accident on I-676 northbound at Exit 5 to Martin Luther King Boulevard in the Camden City area.

As of now, officials don’t know what caused the crash, though PPD officers on the scene say the incident seriously damaged both cars.

Philadelphia’s fire department and emergency medical services personnel rushed to the scene. Those injured have been taken to nearby hospitals, although authorities have not verified their names or the extent of their injuries.

Officers spent almost an hour at the site of the accident, which significantly slowed traffic and resulted in shutdowns. The area has since reopened, but the Philadelphia Police Department is looking into what caused the crash.

The injured victims and their loved ones are in our thoughts.

Major Car Accidents in Philadelphia

The majority of fatalities and injuries in Pennsylvania, as well as the rest of the United States and many other nations, are caused by automobile accidents. Analysts say that, on average, it is estimated that about 53,500 people in Pennsylvania are injured annually as a result of car accidents.

People who have just suffered their first injuries in a car crash are naturally worried about the future because of all the unknowns. How likely am I to fully recover from my injuries and return to work? I am required to inform my own insurance company if the other party’s insurance contacts me. To that end, what words of advice do you have for me?

Needless to say, dealing with the aftermath of an auto accident is much less stressful if you contact a Philadelphia lawyer as soon as possible.

Because of this, Spear Greenfield Personal Injury Attorneys has a team of experienced lawyers ready to help you.
