Woodlyn, PA (November 7, 2022) – At least two to three drivers, along with a few passengers, suffered injuries in a multiple-vehicle accident that took place on Monday evening, November 7, on a busy roadway through the Woodlyn region.
The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m., in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 between Route 420 and Ridley Park, according to the Woodlyn Police Department.
The automobiles were so severely damaged in the collision that they had to be towed from the site of the incident, but the reason for the crash remains a mystery.
Numerous emergency personnel, including those from Woodlyn Fire and EMS, responded to the scene of the crash. The police have not confirmed the identity of the wounded or the severity of their injuries, but it seems that two or three persons were hurt and sent to local hospitals for treatment.
It took the police nearly an hour to investigate the collision scene, which led to delays in traffic. Officials in Woodlyn have begun looking into the collision’s cause but have not provided further information at this time.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
