Michael Spear, the son of the founding partner, Rand Spear, is a trial attorney and an associate at Spear Greenfield. Despite being under the age of thirty, Michael has a high level of experience and a valuable familiarity with personal injury litigation, which he has developed through a lifetime of mentorship from his father. Clients are impressed by Michael’s confidence in the court and vast legal knowledge, not always qualities present in young attorneys. While he hasn’t logged in the years of legal experience that his father has, clients easily forget Michael’s age, because he carries himself as any experienced attorney as he vigorously represents his clients through every aspect of litigation, including deposition, arbitration and trial.
Michael is most known for his tenacity in the courtroom, which was developed from his years of athletic success. His commitment and hard work have led to large settlements and awards for his clients. Equally as important, Michael prioritizes his clients by diligently communicating all necessary information to ensure they are comfortable and satisfied with their representation.
At an early age, Michael expressed his desire to follow in his father’s footsteps. Before becoming a lawyer, Michael attended Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, New Jersey, where he was named captain of the high school football team. Throughout high school, his commitment and hard work led to both academic and athletic success. As a result of his efforts, Michael was recruited to play Division 1 football at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Bucknell, Michael attended Widener University Delaware Law School, where he made the Dean’s List.
