Hamilton Township, NJ (February 8, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, February 8, seven people sustained injuries in a bus crash in Hamilton Township.

According to officials, the accident happened at 4 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway around exit 28. A transit bus was traveling in the area when the driver lost control due to reasons that are not yet known. The bus left the roadway and crashed into the trees on the side of the road.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene. There were 10 people on the bus at the time. Some of the people were trapped inside the bus and had to be removed by fire crews. A total of seven people sustained injuries and were taken to local hospitals. They are all supposed to recover from the injuries.

One westbound lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene, stopping delays in the area.
