Chester, PA (February 24, 2022) – One person was injured in a house fire that took place in a home in Chester on Thursday morning, February 24.
According to officials, the fire took place at 1000 Parker Street. Fire crews arrived at the scene and found that a home was completely engulfed in flames and smoke. Fire officials received word that there was one person inside the home when the fire occurred. They went inside and rescued the individual.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The individual who was rescued from the home was transported to the hospital with injuries. Their condition is not known at this time.
The area was blocked for some time as fire crews attempted to put out the fire. It took some time for them to bring it under control.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
