East Windsor, NJ (April 17, 2022) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mercer County on Saturday, April 16th.
The crash happened at about 12:25 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the turnpike near mile marker 68.4 in East Windsor. The pedestrian died on impact.
The driver of the striking vehicle, who was unharmed during the incident, remained on the scene.
The right two lanes were shut down for police investigation.
