Allen Township, PA (March 12, 2022) – Just after 1 p.m., on March 12, the Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the Capital Beltway.
Reports from the PSP show that more than 70 vehicles were involved in an accident on the Capital Beltway in the area of mile marker 7. The incident caused moderate delays on the highway as crews spent an extended time clearing the scene.
Medical personnel rendered aid to multiple victims who suffered injuries in the accident. EMS transported those in need of further care to area hospitals.
At this time, the Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.
