Philadelphia, PA (February 17, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a major highway in Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon, February 17.

Philadelphia Police confirmed that the accident happened around 3:18 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-676 around the area of 6th Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
