Bensalem, PA (June 25, 2022) – Fire crews were called to the site of a deadly house fire that broke out on Wednesday evening, June 22, and reportedly ended in one victim fatality in the Bensalem area.
Firefighters arrived on the site and found that the fire had claimed one life. The township fire department said that the fire was restricted to the garage of a two-story single-family home in the 3300 block of Reading Avenue, but it is still unknown what caused it to start.
The reason is still being looked into, and the victim’s name was not immediately disclosed. EMTs also responded to the scene, however, they did not record any more injuries related to the fire.
The circumstances and the origin of the fire are still being reviewed, and officers with the Bensalem Police Department have not provided additional details to the public at this time.
Our deepest sympathies are extended to the victim’s family.
