Multi-Vehicle Crashes in Pennsylvania
Research and statistics from the last year show that in the state of Pennsylvania, head-on collisions, T-bone collisions, and rear-end collisions are the most common forms of vehicle accidents. Drivers in Pennsylvania need to be extra cautious since the state averages over 20,000 accidents involving multiple cars each year.
Rear-end collisions often occur because of reckless driving. Most rear-end incidents in Pennsylvania are caused by drivers who are careless and reckless and who ignore traffic signals. What’s more, identifying who was to blame in a car crash may be simple most of the time, but it may be far more complicated than you’d think otherwise.
In a rear-end accident, your injuries will be proportional to the other driver’s speed. When one driver suddenly applies the brakes, the car behind them often has little choice except to slam into them, causing an accident.
The person who rear-ended you and seriously wounded you should pay for your medical bills and lost wages if you were not at fault. Unfortunately and unfairly, after a vehicle accident leaves a policyholder with a number of damages, the insurer may fight against claims for long-term care expenses and reimbursement for lost wages and future potential earnings all too often.
