Pennsylvania’s High Rate of Fatal Multi-Car Crashes
There are among the highest rates of fatal car accidents in the country on the state’s roads and other major, heavily-traveled thoroughfares, especially those that pass through its densely populated cities. Obviously, there are far too many car crashes in this country each year. Moreover, analysts have used data from 2020 to forecast that Pennsylvania will have at least 100,000 accidents involving multiple drivers by the end of 2022.
If motorists on the adjacent streets and roads are inattentive or disobey traffic signals, an accident of this type could occur in an instant. In addition, driving under the influence (DUI), driving while distracted (by a phone or the radio), and driving at high speeds are all factors that might contribute to automobile accidents.
Everyone is responsible for driving safely and not endangering oneself, other drivers, or pedestrians. Unfortunately, not all drivers follow the rules of the road. Careless motorists pose a significant threat to other road users by causing accidents. There may be substantial emotional, physical, and monetary repercussions. You might not want to go to a lawyer after a car crash, but it could be necessary.
There’s a good chance you’ll have trouble navigating Pennsylvania’s intricate legal system. Having a lawyer on your side can help you with everything from gathering evidence of negligence to meeting state filing requirements and beyond.
