Chester City, PA (May 28, 2022) – A vehicle accident involving more than one driver and ending in possible injuries was reported in the Chester City area on Saturday afternoon, May 28, at about 3:30 p.m.
On Interstate 95 southbound, between the exits for Edgemont Avenue and Ridley Park, police and emergency crews were rushed to the scene. They seemed to administer help at the site before transporting at least one of the accident victims to a nearby medical facility.
All but one lane of traffic was shut down as detectives finished the on-scene portion of the inquiry and looked into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The identities of the victims have not been released, and the present condition of any wounded victims is unknown.
