Conshohocken, PA (March 8, 2023) – A multiple-vehicle crash occurred on a local roadway in the Conshohocken area on Wednesday evening, March 8th, injuring several people involved.
The Conshohocken Police Department was notified of an incident on southbound Interstate 476 near I-95 at around 10:05 p.m.
The Conshohocken Fire Department and Conshohocken paramedics were among the emergency response teams who rushed to the scene. The police have not released information about the identity or the extent of the injuries of two or more individuals who were wounded and brought to neighboring hospitals, though they plan to provide further information in the coming weeks.
The on-scene collision investigation by police caused a one-hour-long traffic backup. In the meantime, Conshohocken and Philadelphia officials have opened an official inquiry into the crash and are still investigating at this time.
