Motorcycle Wrecks in Philadelphia
Motorcycle accidents consistently rank among Pennsylvania’s worst traffic collisions each year. When they happen on busy thoroughfares or highways in densely populated places like Philadelphia and its suburbs, the consequences may be catastrophic.
The death toll from motorcycle accidents is disproportionately high. Motorcycle accidents in Pennsylvania had a mortality rate up to 30 times greater than other types of vehicle incidents, according to a new study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
One of the most challenging aspects of recovering from an accident-related injury is proving the other party’s negligence. Insurance companies are notorious for doing all they can to pay as little as possible once a claim has been filed.
The victim and their loved ones may experience feelings of helplessness and frustration after an accident as they deal with outside parties like insurance companies and mounting bills during a protracted, painful rehabilitation.
