Delaware County, PA (November 30, 2023) – Two pedestrians were hit in Delaware County early Wednesday morning, resulting in one fatality.
The collision occurred at the junction of Chester Pike and Ashland Avenue in Glenolden at around 6:00 a.m. in the morning. According to the police, a pickup truck headed south hit the two pedestrians as they crossed Chester Pike on Ashland Avenue. Authorities declared a 65-year-old woman deceased at the scene. A 36-year-old woman was taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. A joint investigation by the Glenolden PD, the Delaware County CSI, and the Delaware County Crash Team is under underway into the incident.
