Franklin, NJ (October 16, 2024) – Further details were released after a Somerset man was killed in a head-on crash in Franklin Township on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning, October 15, at 7:25 a.m., a 911 call reported a head-on motor vehicle crash on Amwell Road near South Middlebush Road in Franklin, said authorities. One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver and passenger of the second vehicle both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The factors that contributed to the crash are currently under investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team and the Franklin Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau.
