Hopewell Township, PA (August 4, 2023) – Early on Thursday morning, one person was killed in a collision involving an SUV and a car in York County.
The York County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene of the collision in the 1000 block of Woolen Mill Road in Hopewell Township at about 4:50 a.m. A coroner’s investigation revealed that an SUV had entered oncoming traffic and collided with a car.
The sedan’s driver succumbed to his injuries at the site. It’s unclear if any other victims sustained injuries, but Hopewell Township officers and York deputies are still investigating at this time.
