Langhorne, PA (January 25, 2022) – One person was badly injured in a dump truck crash involving another vehicle in Langhorne on Tuesday, January 25.
Police confirmed that the accident happened at 8:45 a.m. on Brownsville Road around the area of Butterworth Lane. A Pontiac was traveling in the area when it suddenly collided head-on with a dump truck due to reasons that are not fully known. This caused the passenger vehicle to catch on fire, leading to extensive damages.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the vehicle was freed before he was burned. The victim was then rushed to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for some time. By 10 a.m., police reported that lanes were being reopened.
