Lawnside Borough, NJ (June 15, 2023) – Troopers with the New Jersey State Police are looking into a major car accident that occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike early Thursday afternoon, June 15.
The incident happened at about 12:15 p.m. Troopers say the collision unfolded near southbound Route 27 on the NJ Turnpike in Lawnside Borough, Camden County.
At least one victim appeared hurt in the accident, but details regarding the individuals involved are unclear.
In the interim, detectives from the New Jersey State Police will oversee the crash investigation. The investigation remains ongoing and active, and any witnesses were asked to step forward.
