Pennsbury, PA (May 14, 2023) – On Wednesday afternoon, according to school authorities, a bus from the Pennsbury School District was involved in a collision on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, resulting in minor injuries to three kids.
The collision occurred at around 2:30 p.m., as the bus was transporting students between Bucks County Technical High School and Conwell-Egan Catholic High School. Officers reported to 198 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road at Terrace Road on the outskirts of the towns of Falls and Middletown, per the school district.
Emergency medical services were sent to the location of the collision after the bus crashed into another vehicle while heading in opposite directions on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road.
Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad authorities and officials from the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, Bucks County Rescue Squad, and Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad responded to the site. Three children were assessed and transported for minor injuries, though they are expected to recover.
It’s unclear if any citations or charges will be filed in connection with the accident, but officers are still investigating at this time.
