Philadelphia, PA (May 28, 2023) – Police in North Philadelphia are investigating a deadly hit-and-run that took place early Sunday morning, May 28.
According to officials who responded to the incident, a man on a motorcycle was hit by a Chrysler 300 on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway near 17th Street. The driver left the scene and was last seen on Broad Street near Erie Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
The man was pronounced dead before he could be transported to a hospital.
At this time, police have not made any arrests. They expect the suspect’s car will have front-end damage from the collision and are actively searching for it.
